Whitecliff Bay

Bembridge (PO35 5PY)

Whitecliff Bay is a sandy and shingle beach beneath the chalk cliffs near Bembridge, with an open view across the English Channel. It is a distinct shoreline viewpoint from the higher Culver Down viewpoint, although nearby settlement and holiday-park lighting may affect faint-star visibility. Access to the beach involves a steep path, and the shore can be affected by tides; check tide times and keep clear of the base of unstable cliffs.
